As standard, Axminster Clubman SK100 chucks with thread M33x3.5 are supplied with 3 grub screws which can be clamped onto the centering collar of the shaft (Ø 34 mm) to prevent the chuck from accidentally running off. Under certain circumstances, this can cause damage to the centering collar of the machine.
These grub screws with softer brass pins protect the centering collar and thus contribute to maintaining the value of the lathe.Thread: M8
