When turning hollow forms, there is often a considerable overhang of the tool over the tool rest resulting in unfavorable leverage. This curved tool rest can be positioned so that it protrudes into the hollow mold. There are holes on the top of the curved tool rest rail, these serve to accommodate an optionally available fork guide or a guide pin. A bar lying horizontally outside the workpiece serves as a hand and tool rest. Optionally, the tool rest rod can also be replaced by an eccentric support rod (not included in the scope of delivery). This way, the removal tool can be guided at an exact height in the case of hollow vessels with very small openings.
