In general, the chuck can be distinguished between lathe chuck and drill chuck. If the chuck holds the workpiece, then it is also called a lathe chuck. Chucks for fastening drills or similar tools are called drill chucks.
The lathe chuck is mainly used on lathes. They can be divided into different categories, such as the three-jaw or four-jaw chuck.
