Product details
The foot lathe is manufactured in small series in the Ore Mountains based on the historical model. The metal parts (screws, nails, crankshaft, tailstock quill etc.) are hand forged. The spindle is guided in white metal plain bearings. A counter-pressure bearing (back bearing) is attached to the rear of the spindle. This enables stop work on the spindle without damaging the slide bearings. The flywheel is made of beech, the bench frame, headstock, tailstock etc. are made of softwood. Contrary to the historical model, the belt is a plastic-coated round belt.

- Distance between centres: approx. 700mm
- Tool support: 155mm wide, tipped with sheet metal
- Spindle thread: M33 x 3.5
- Spindle bearings: white metal plain bearings and back bearings for hitting
- Height x width x depth: 1200 x 1500 x 680mm (flywheel protrudes a little at the front and back)
