The GFK 500 thread milling and fluting device is currently not available! Standard design including a milling tool with three cutting edges (for a flank angle of 60°) and three change gears for different pitches, but without milling motor and without chuck (spindle thread M 33). The tool which is part of the basic equipment of the thread milling machine, has an exchangeable carbide cutting blade and an 8mm diameter shank. It can be used for both external and internal threads, however, the thread length is limited to 60mm and the smallest diameter for the internal thread starts at 20mm (the borehole must be pre-drilled here). Long external threads (up to 500mm) and with the HSS special tool small internal threads (from 12mm) and threads on socket bodies are possible with a lettering cutter.
