- Internal thread M33 x 3.5 external thread ½ inch (UNF, 20 tpi)
- Allows the use of 4-prong drivers and other accessories with an internal thread 1/2" x 20 gear (e.g. Marlin heads)
- Conventional drivers with Morse taper (MK) cannot be used on these lathes
This driver solution is useful for:
- Wood lathe in which the inner cone is damaged, for example "eaten"
- Wood lathe with back bearing, which closes the hollow shaft
- Wood lathe with vacuum connection, which can only be dismantled with great effort
- Wood lathe without inner cone
