The spindle is guided in white metal plain bearings. A counter-pressure bearing (back bearing) can be attached to the rear of the spindle. This enables stop work on the spindle without damaging the slide bearings. The flywheel is made of beech. Contrary to the historical model, the belt is a plastic-coated round belt.
