Product details
Turning hooks are only suitable for turning end grain. The straight hollowing hook is used for hollowing out open vessels with a flat bottom. The cranked hook is used for vessels with a concave bottom.
The Wiedemann hollowing hooks are made from one piece of HSS and then heated and hardened under vacuum. The tools offer a long service life and sharpness and high stability with good vibration absorption.
The hooks are supplied ground ready for use. We recommend a conical diamond file or a corundum cone for re-sharpening.Scope of delivery:
- Large straight hook: pin Ø 8mm, total length approx. 55mm, cutting diameter approx. 11mm
- Large cranked hook: mounting pin Ø 8mm, total length approx. 55mm, cutting diameter approx. 11mm
- Holding rod / shaft: length 350mm, Ø 16mm, holder Ø 8mm
