Boring Tool BCT

BCT (Bierton Craft Turnery) tools are excellent for making a wide variety of vessel shapes. It is a tool system that is suitable for working in both end grain and cross grain. This makes it possible to make a wide variety of vase shapes or even bowls with back-turned rims. An adjustable extension arm makes the tool very easy to handle even for inexperienced woodturners. The cutting heads can be cranked to different degrees by a joint, so that a variety of geometries can be set.

BCT tools are available in 3 different versions, which are compatible with each other. It is a good idea to purchase a basic tool first and then expand it as needed using conversion kits.

Replacement blades are available for all tool types. Sharpening the tools is quite simple with a diamond file.
