Non-Accessible Content

We are constantly working to improve our shop. However, for the following reasons, the website is not yet fully accessible. We strive to be transparent about these issues and offer solutions.

• Offers in the Header Area (Header Banners): Some of our current offers are promoted in graphic banners in the header section of the website. The text within these images may not be readable by assistive technologies such as screen readers.

  • Important for you: All products and promotions shown in these banners are always findable via the regular shop navigation, categories, or the search function, where they are fully accessible. This means you will not miss any offers.

• Color Contrast: In some areas of the website, the color contrast between text and background may still be below the recommended minimum values. We are working to identify and gradually adjust these areas.

Feedback on accessibility

This guide explains step-by-step how to place your order in our shop. We have placed special emphasis on ensuring that all steps are simple and understandable, even when using assistive technologies like screen readers or keyboard-only navigation.

1. Find and Select Products You can find your desired product either through the categories on the homepage or by using the search field in the top right corner. The search field is fully accessible via keyboard and optimized for screen readers.

2. Set Quantity and Add to Cart On the product page, enter the desired quantity. Then, click the shopping cart icon to add the product to your cart. All input fields and buttons are clearly labeled and designed to be accessible.

3. Continue Shopping or Go to Cart After adding a product, a confirmation window will appear. Here you can choose:

• "Continue shopping": You will remain in the shop and can select more products.

• "Go to cart": You will be taken directly to the overview of your selected items.

This window is also fully keyboard-operable and readable by assistive technologies.

4. Review Your Cart and Select Options In the shopping cart, you will see an overview of your products. Here you also have the following options:

• Order or Inquire: You can start the purchase process via the "Order" button or send a non-binding inquiry via the "Inquire" button (this option is especially relevant for our business customers).

• Select your shipping method.

• Leave notes for your order (e.g., commission number, desired delivery date, SMS notification).

• Enter a voucher code.

All fields and options are clearly labeled and accessible.

5. Select or Enter Your Address In the next step, provide your billing and shipping address. You can use a saved address, edit it, or enter a new one. For delivery, you can choose between:

• Shipping to the billing address

• Shipping to a different delivery address

• Local pickup

The address fields are accessible and support address suggestions to simplify input.

6. Select Payment Method Choose your preferred payment method (e.g., credit card, invoice, bank transfer). All options are designed as clickable buttons that are keyboard-accessible and correctly labeled for screen readers.

7. Review and Complete Your Order On the final overview page, you can review all your details at your leisure. To complete the order, the following steps are necessary:

• Confirm the Terms & Conditions (T&Cs) (only required for private customers).

• Optionally, waive paper delivery notes or invoices by activating the corresponding fields.

• Finally, click the "Order and Pay" button.

Your order will then be successfully submitted to us.
