Secure clamping of the workpiece is very important when turning large hollow molds. These stainless steel jaws have been specially developed for this task. They enable an enormous clamping force and strong holding of the workpiece. The jaws offer a significant improvement compared to conventional jaws. The insides of the jaws have deep ribs which clamp securely on a turned 100 mm diameter pin. The ribbed inner surfaces are 44 mm deep. The top edge of the jaws has a dovetail of 8 mm x 15 ° for bowl and crosscut work, which extends the usefulness of these jaws. The jaws have been designed specifically for the Axminster Evolution SK114 chuck, but are also safe to use on the TOS and Zentra chuck types.Made in UK.
