Filigree turning was a widespread specialization in the woodturning trade, mainly in the Allgäu region. Filigree turning has been as good as extinct for many years. Reinhart Beck has completed professional training as a wood sculptor, wood turner and carpenter and keeps this rare craft alive. The tools offered here are so also used by him. The chisel foot 14/8 and gouge 5/8 have a special grinding, which also serves as a depth limiter and minimizes the risk of splitting the turned parts.
