Linocut tool

The linocut tool differs significantly in blade and handle from conventional carving knifes and chisels. Thanks to the short, mushroom-headed handle, the blade can be guided precisely and enables flexible and exact handling. The narrow, fine cutting edge is also well suited for detailed work on pieces of wood. We offer a variety of linoleum carving tools with different blade lengths, widths and shapes. As with the larger carving tools, these filigree blades are made of the proven pfeil special steel.

Blade shapes of the linocut tools

The linocut tools offer different blade shapes to choose from. You will find the following shapes in our range:

• Flat chisels: available in straight, slanted and short bent blade shapes. Choose between a width of 4mm or 8mm. The blade length is 125mm.
• Gouges: a diverse range of blade shapes is available to meet your specific requirements. Choose the right shape and width to suit your application.
• V tools: The classic V-shaped gouge foot is available in 1mm and 4mm widths. As an alternative, we also offer a gouge foot with an offset tip in the standard width of 2mm. An offset blade completes the range.

With these different shapes of linocut tools, you can design your linocuts precisely and down to the last detail.
