Product details
This Axminster screw insert is compatible with the SK88 type E dovetail jaws. The SK88 lathe chuck can therefore also be used as a screw chuck.
Using a screw chuck is a quick and convenient method of securing a turning blank to the lathe.
The central screw has a deep, sharp thread for a firm and secure hold. Only an 8 mm Ø hole needs to be drilled into the blank. Unlike a face plate, which requires several screws to hold the workpiece in place, a screw chuck only has one central screw. It is ideal for small or flat workpieces (always check that it is suitable for the size of the workpiece).- Compatible with SK88 chucks and type E dovetail attachments
